Who are we? Where do we come from? We follow the traces, fragments of yesterday that have come down to us, to tell us what? That we are the remnants of those who came before us, the premise of those who are to come.
This project is inspired by a theatrical path set in the archaeological site of Nora (Cagliari). In these images, I seek to revive myths and legends of a distant time, when the Sardinian people fought their endless war against the invaders with whom, inevitably, they ended up merging, acquiring their customs, language and habits.
Foreigners, landings. Welcome or rejection. Resource or threat. From the myths of the past to the present day. A topical reflection on the meaning of migration; a subject as urgent as ever.
